Silent Valley Mystery Mansion
SCORE: 67
G5
Entertainment has just released Silent Valley Mystery Mansion. A creepy,
scary, eerie horror hidden object game on the iPad. Numerous taboos are
trampled on in Silent Valley Mystery Mansion. A young married couple is
on their honeymoon. They are separated by an evil witch like lady.
The timing of Silent Valley Mystery Mansion coincides with Halloween.
For those families that celebrate that Satanic holiday. I will be blunt
about my feelings on Halloween. I do not like it. I do not celebrate it.
The only thing happy about it is the increase of cavities in teeth.
Which increases revenue for dentists, but cause the rest of us pain. I
also do not see how scaring anyone is the way to happiness. Give someone
a heart attack, and that somehow brings joy. I do not get it. But then
there are things in the world I find completely backwards.
Back to Silent Valley Mystery Mansion. Apologies for going on a soapbox
rant in this review. It needed to be said, and that felt like the right
time and place. Silent Valley Mystery Mansion is a hidden object game
where there are very few hidden object screens. What do I mean by that?
Players go into a room, and look at a spot. A pop up window appears on
the screen with a zoomed in look of that spot. Like the top of a table.
There are objects on the table the player can interact with. Grab a door
handle for example. Go to the room that needs a door handle. Put it on,
and enter the room. That is the majority of what players do in Silent
Valley Mystery Mansion.
There are scary images in Silent Valley Mystery Mansion. Images of
ghosts, death, occult, totems, magic, and more. The attempt to break up
a newlywed couple is one of the most repugnant to our culture. Why does
this lady do that? Spoiler alert: to sacrifice the men to save her dying
son.
G5 Entertainment continues their impressive hint system. Mini games can
be skipped after the hint bar builds up. The hint bar will tell players
to try another area, and guide them screen by screen to the right area.
The hint bar also shows what object to use to interact on the right
screens. There is no reason to ever get stuck in Silent Valley Mystery
Mansion.
