SlugTerra Slug Power
SCORE: 81
The third volume of the SlugTerra
television show has made its way into Family Friendly Gaming. The five
episodes on this disc are Mecha Mutiny, Undertow, Mario Bravado, The New
Kid Part 1, and The New Kid Part 2. Some interesting things happen in
this episode.
I love the exploration of this underground world. SlugTerra Slug Power
brings the viewer to new places, caverns, and areas. The whole pirates
concept done with the Slugs is perfect. It is the logical progression of
the series. I would have never thought of cannons.
SlugTerra Slug Power contains numerous explosions yet the human
characters are rarely damaged. They see stars when they hit their heads
on things like walls. It is shown in a comical way in SlugTerra Slug
Power. Slugs will take hits sometimes but they recover.
There are some things that happen in SlugTerra Slug Power that I want to
tell you about but would rather not spoil the surprise. Some of the
twists and turns in these five episodes are very interesting. The whole
underground rebel theme for the good guys is intriguing. They are out to
stop Dr Blakk. Many times they do so in what we might consider
terrorists acts. They justify it by saying: "Blakk doesn't play fair."
There is a deep family theme that is preached in a couple of the
episodes of SlugTerra Slug Power. As well as being welcoming to those
who want to stand up to evil. In this show it is Dr Blakk. There are
some interesting new characters added in SlugTerra Slug Power that
children will enjoy.
My boys continue to deeply enjoy SlugTerra. They are pleased as punch to
be able to watch SlugTerra Slug Power. They continue to ask me when
entire seasons of the show will be released on DVD and/or Blu-ray.
