Sofia the First Ready to be a Princess
SCORE: 82
This review is the first time Family
Friendly Gaming is sounding off on Sofia the First. She was a commoner
who becomes a princess. In the five episodes on the Sofia the First
Ready to be a Princess she is learning about what it means to be a
princess.
The five episodes on Sofia the First Ready to be a Princess are A Royal
Mess, The Shy Princess, Blue Ribbon Bunny, The Princess Test, and Two to
Tangu. Princess Jasmine is a guest star in that last one. She helps two
young princesses out of a tough spot.
Sofia the First Ready to be a Princess is a show designed for little
girls. Boys are not going to be as interested in princesses, etiquette,
being snooty, shy, how to use a fan, gossip, and more. They will be more
interested in lessons like do not lie, going to the circus, catchy
songs, and friendship.
Adults will be able to pick out where the stories are taking little
girls. The Princess Test is a perfect example of this. I could tell
early on what was going on. Kids may not catch on until near the end of
the episode. Which will help them marvel at it all. They may ask you
questions about the magic in this show.
There are around 112 minutes of content on the Sofia the First Ready to
be a Princess DVD. There is also a little wardrobe, and dresses craft
project included in the package. Or at least it was included in the
reviewable copy Family Friendly Gaming was provided.
Sofia the First Ready to be a Princess can teach kids to be honest,
kind, caring, considerate, give people a chance, avoid gossip, be a good
friend, believe in yourself, and more. I am amazed at how many lessons
in Sofia the First Ready to be a Princess that come directly out of the
Holy Bible.
