Sprinkle Islands
SCORE: 86
Mediocre has splashed its way back into
the Family Friendly Gaming Nation with Sprinkle Islands. Been awhile
since you sprinkled anything? Remember the puzzle game where you had a
little vehicle with an extendable ladder? At the end of that ladder is a
nozzle so you can spray water.
Why are we spraying water in Sprinkle Islands? To put fires out don't
cha know. There has to be a catch right? We only have so much water to
put out all the fires in Sprinkle Islands. That and we have to use water
physics to move certain objects into the right places. Otherwise we can
not progress forward in the levels.
The forty-five levels in Sprinkle Islands start easy enough at first.
Later on they can get long and complex. If you get stuck and keep
messing up over and over again, this app will ask if you want to skip
the level. I really appreciate that because there are still a few levels
I am not sure how to complete.
Sprinkle Islands has a soft look to the graphics. I love putting out
those fires and saving those villagers. Reminds me of Smokey Bear and
his catch phrase: "Only You Can Prevent Wildfires." Only the family
members playing Sprinkle Islands can put out the fires. Okay so that is
a stretch, but you know what I mean.
The physics in Sprinkle Islands are fantastic. The water flows in a
realistic manner. The vehicle moves in a realistic manner, well for a
rather unrealistic vehicle. The ladder is easy to move up and down. I
had fun playing Sprinkle Islands, and feel like it is worth the price of
admission.
