Temptation Episode 1
SCORE: 71
Temptation
Episode 1 is a moody hidden adventure game where reality is left behind.
Players take on the role of a young lady who reaches a town only to find
a nasty fog has rolled in. Instead of shivering in the cold air she
finds crows that kidnap people.
The good town folk will not open their doors. I kept expecting to hear
there was no room at the inn from at least one of them. Players solve
their way around the town trying to find a safe place and avoid the fog.
Alas it is all in vain. Don't worry that was the first chapter so its
not much of a spoiler.
From there players must solve different riddles, and find objects to
help others. There are mysteries to unearth, and a queen to save. What
makes Temptation Episode 1 on the iPad so interesting is the crows are
continually trying to tempt you.
The crows in Temptation Episode 1 make really good Satan like
characters. They try all kinds of wicked schemes and plots to get the
player to fall from grace. The goal of Temptation Episode 1 is to
overcome these temptations. Which is an awesome lesson for families.
Players can play Temptation Episode 1 in multiple difficulty settings.
It depends on your skill, patience, and perseverance. Also how much time
you have to devote to the graphical memory hog. There are some creepy
images in Temptation Episode 1.
The crow sounds as screens are changed can be annoying. The same goes
from walking all over this fantasy world trying to find one object to
move things forward. The hint button is an immense help in that regard,
All in all Temptation Episode 1 is one of the better hidden object games
on the market.
