Word Wizard 3D

Quite a
few companies have released word based games over the years. Word Wizard
3D is the first time I noticed so many word games on one downloadable
hand held video game. Word Wizard 3D contains WordSearch, Pick A Letter,
Hangman, WordFinder, Bubbles, WordBlast, SwapLetters, and Wordoku.
Families are provided so much time in Word Wizard 3D to get as much done
as possible. Successes will add time to the clock and failures will
remove time. Once the clock reaches zero then it is game over. The final
score is tallied and you can see if you broke your record or not.
Some of the games in Word Wizard 3D are crazier than others. Players
need to be fast in SwapLetters. The letters are flying all over the
screen in Bubbles. Hangman is all about luck at first. Once you pick a
few words right then you can start to build some time.
WordSearch became an instant favorite for me. Finding the words on the
screen never got old. I wound up building up so much time that I had to
quit. That is the one drawback to Word Wizard 3D. If you only have a few
minutes to play and do really well, the game will not let you keep that
score when you quit. Even when it is a new high score.
Word Wizard 3D contains over 100,00 words in English, French and Spanish
(each language has a dictionary of over 100K). There are no swear words,
and this downloadable Nintendo 3DS/2DS game has great educational value.
I can see Word Wizard 3D becoming an important game for families.
It was a real pleasure for me to play and review Word Wizard 3D on the
Nintendo 2DS/Nintendo 3DS. The music enhances the experience. The
graphics are decent, and the game play usually allows for thoughtful
contemplation. I hope to see sequels to this game in the future.
