I have to hand it to Majesco. Another year, and another Zumba home console dancing game. They could have focused on a certain body part - like they did last year with Core. They could have churned out yet another Zumba video game. But they didn't. They encompassed the whole world. Technically not the entire world. But enough of it to give us that flavor.

Dancers will want to start Zumba Fitness World Party in the World Tour. Go to Brazil, Europe, the Caribbean, Los Angeles, India, and more. Each area contains six songs. Playing this will unlock additional content for the rest of the game. When you need a breather watch the videos on the dance and attire in those countries.

Speaking of attire - you knew this was coming up. Many of the instructors in Zumba Fitness World Party do not wear many threads on their bodies while bouncing and jiggling about. Not they have much to bounce and jiggle about mind you. But still. My main comment on that is this - if you are doing Celtic or Russian dance - why not dress in that attire? I get it in Hawaii or Brazil. But India, and Europe? It does not fit the world theme in this home console dancing game.

I played Zumba Fitness World Party on the Xbox One. Those graphics are crisp and clear. So I could see belly buttons quite clearly. As well as hair, muscles, and sweat. Maybe it was my own sweat and I was blinded by it. The dancers are smaller looking this year, and their back up dancers fade in and out. Not sure why that was part of the presentation.

Zumba Fitness World Party advertises musicians like Lady Gaga, Pitbull, and Daddy Yankee. For me this is a negative and not a positive. I am not fond of their music, or their controversial life style choices. The ethnic music from different countries is fantastic, and very educational. Although I have no idea what they are saying since it is in a different language.

Speaking of education, Zumba Fitness World Party has bonus videos on the instructors going to the different countries. As well as information on the different dance styles from those regions. This is very interesting to me. I noticed different dance styles impact different areas of the body. One area is more core, whereas another area is more full body. This is something to pay attention to as you decide what you want to work out. There are classes, as well as individual songs for families to play on their time table.

Zumba Fitness World Party is very forgiving on the Xbox One. I did not need to go into Learn the Steps this year. I routinely got four and five stars on the dances. I even got my hubby to play Zumba Fitness World Party. Just be careful when he goes into those Russian kicks - you do not want to be close to him.
