Adventure Time Secret of the Nameless Kingdom
SCORE: 76
Adventure Time Secret of the Nameless Kingdom is the third video game
in the Adventure Time video game series. Adventure Time Secret of the
Nameless Kingdom is on the Personal Computer, Xbox 360, and Playstation
3. This home console video game is like The Legend of Zelda A Link to
the Past.
The graphics in Adventure Time Secret of the Nameless Kingdom are in the
overhead tilted camera angle. We hack and slash through a variety of
characters. There are also special power ups, magic, and things like
bombs in Adventure Time Secret of the Nameless Kingdom.
Since this is Adventure Time, you know there is Finn and Jake. There are
also princesses. You could probably guess that we need to save the
princesses. A long list of characters from the show make appearances in
Adventure Time Secret of the Nameless Kingdom. I personally like seeing
the grass sword.
Adventure Time Secret of the Nameless Kingdom has plenty of humor in it.
The characters all play to their strengths in this home console video
game. This includes the enemies we dispose of. They will respawn when we
leave a screen and come back.
In some ways Adventure Time Secret of the Nameless Kingdom reminds me of
older games my dad has shown me. Do not expect a lot of hints outside of
the tutorial section. You are expected to figure out how to do things.
You are expected to figure out what is needed to progress. I got myself
trapped in a few rooms with no clue how to get out. I eventually let
myself die. It dawned on me that I must have missed something really
important earlier in the game.
Thankfully the world in Adventure Time Secret of the Nameless Kingdom is
not too huge. It does not take too long to get around the world of
Adventure Time Secret of the Nameless Kingdom. Screens scroll quickly,
and it is easy to bring up the map screen to plot a course.
I like how Wayforward Technologies is trying different things with the
Adventure Time license. Adventure Time Secret of the Nameless Kingdom is
going to appeal to some families. Other families are not going to be
interested in it. It is going to depend on your tastes.
