Constant C

Constant C reminds me of so many other action adventure puzzle games. Games like Unmechanical come to mind. In Constant C we are working through room after room. We are able to play with gravity, and time while playing Constant C. Plus we have this little gravity field that will attract certain objects towards us, or in specific patterns. Like a platform that goes up and down.

Constant C did not overwhelm me. It has its own little charm - like the Rescue Robot. Hey, why wasn't that the name of this game? Oh that's right there already is a franchise called Rescue Robot. And it is also in the puzzle genre. Hmmmmmm, interesting eh?

There is pleasant music in Constant C. I really enjoyed listening to it while trying to solve the one hundred levels. Sadly there are some language issues in Constant C. Which baffles me personally. I do not comprehend why bad language has to be included in games like this one.

Expect to die early and often in Constant C. Your little robot will blow up when he touches things like lasers. You know what makes little sense to me about Constant C? We don't turn these lasers off. I think we should turn them all off before completing a level.

Constant C will challenge your brain. Your robot can only fall so far. However you can swap gravity at the last moment to make him lose the momentum. and then swap it again real quick to land safely. Yes there are some tricks to completing levels in Constant C.

I enjoyed my time with Constant C. It is a fun little action adventure 2D side scrolling puzzle game. It feels more like a PC game than a Playstation 3/Xbox 360 home console game. But that is okay because console gamers may take an interest. Which would bring more games like this to them in the future.
