The Wii U is giving the OUYA a run for its money. In what sales? No,
the Wii U is dominating the OUYA in terms of sales. The Wii U is
catching up with the OUYA in terms of having app ports. I remember
playing Cubemen 2 on the iPhone and iPad.
Cubemen 2 looks a little small on the Wii U. I zoomed in as far as this
downloadable home console game would let me. It still looked a little
small. Now I am used to Minecraft, so the blocky graphics do not bother
me. The small graphics are another story. I hate having to get my
glasses to see what is going on in a game.
Cubemen 2 is a tower defense game where we place certain characters on
the map to defend our base. The enemies usually have more bases than us,
and can attack from multiple angles. The more you play Cubemen 2, the
more units you get. Some can fire a gun, others use a flame thrower,
others are mines, and more.
The coolest thing about Cubemen 2 is being able to create your own
levels. You will need an Internet connection and enough bandwidth to
upload/download levels in Cubemen 2. Please keep that in mind. Also you
have to download Cubemen 2. At this current moment there are no physical
copies of this game in stores.
Cubemen 2 is a solid, and deep tower defense game with its own unique
flavor on the Wii U. I am happy it was ported over because there are not
a lot of tower defense games on the Wii U. Cubemen 2 is violent, and a
lot of block people die. It earns its everyone ten years old and older
only.
