Disney Planes Fire & Rescue
SCORE: 72
Family Friendly Gaming has been in the habit of reviewing games on
the home consoles and hand helds. Usually the hand held versions of
video games are different from the home console versions. That is not
the case with Disney Planes Fire & Rescue on the Nintendo 3DS.
Essentially it is the same game.
That means families can take rescuing vehicles on the go in the hand
held version of Disney Planes Fire & Rescue. There is another benefit to
the 3DS version of Disney Planes Fire & Rescue - 3D. I know it should go
without saying, but I am saying. 3D is an experience that many gamers
get into.
I personally love the academy missions in Disney Planes Fire & Rescue. I
was able to do even better on the 3DS version of Disney Planes Fire &
Rescue. Probably because I remembered the missions and was that much
quicker at doing them.
I also adapted to the controls very quickly in the 3DS version of Disney
Planes Fire & Rescue. Flying and driving around has rarely been this
fun. Don't expect to fly around for long in Disney Planes Fire & Rescue
though. The goal is to put out those fires, and save those trapped
vehicles as quickly as possible.
For me Disney Planes Fire & Rescue the second time around was just as
much fun as the first time. There is something special about rescuing
others from harm. Yes I know this game is fantasy, and these vehicles
are not really alive. The act of heroism is the same no matter where it
is implemented. Talk about a good lesson for our children too.
