Disney Planes Fire & Rescue
SCORE: 72
I like Disney Planes Fire & Rescue on the Wii and Wii U. In this home
console video game we get to be a fire rescue vehicle. We douse fires,
save deer, and help out a variety of vehicles. I got into scooping up
the water, and dousing the fires.
The controls took a few levels to get used to in Disney Planes Fire &
Rescue. They are a bit on the touchy side. At times I wanted to go
right, and end up looping off to the left. I also noticed my aerial
vehicles would glitch through tall mountain peaks.
There are enough missions to keep busy for five to eight hours.
Especially if they want to get gold in each of the levels. There are
some nice bonus pictures that are unlocked in Disney Planes Fire &
Rescue. Missions start short in Disney Planes Fire & Rescue and end up
being much longer.
There are some nice sound bytes here and there in Disney Planes Fire &
Rescue. Thanks to this Wii U home console video game I now know who
Dynamite is. The music in Disney Planes Fire & Rescue is pleasant to
listen to. I also appreciate the flying sounds. Especially of the
airplanes.
We do not spend all of our time in Disney Planes Fire & Rescue in the
air. We also play ground based vehicles. Some of them are more fun than
others. Sawing logs for example is better than raking up piles of
branches. There is one mission in Disney Planes Fire & Rescue that gave
me fits. Having to move two roadblocks back and forth between two roads.
There was enough room between the roads to leave them there and let all
the waiting cars progress at once. There I go thinking logically, and
efficiently again. Disney Planes Fire & Rescue would not let me do the
logical and efficient thing.
Kids have a real blast playing Disney Planes Fire & Rescue. They love
finding the jet streams and zooming around. They love putting out fires.
They really got into hoisting up and lowering cars. The whole deer thing
in Disney Planes Fire & Rescue is a nice inside joke. I won't spoil it
for you.
