EA Sports UFC

If mixed martial arts, boxing, wrestling, or the UFC bother you, then I know you will not be purchasing EA Sports UFC on the Xbox One or Playstation 4. Not everyone is into physical competition. UFC athletes train for months for one match. The grueling training includes strategy on how to beat their opponents.

EA Sports UFC tries to make realistic matches in the octagon. Which is complex because there is the stand up fighting portion, and the wrestling portion. Submissions come into play in the wrestling portion. I found submissions to be difficult to perform. It is easier to win in the stand up game.

Players start EA Sports UFC after all the loading is done. Then I had to wait for some update to download, and install. Sigh. It seems like games now-a-days require all this time to apply updates, and install. I like it when games were plug and play. Put the game in a system, and play it almost instantly.

Due to Electronic Arts EA press conference presentation I was all excited to play Bruce Lee. Well there is an additional charge to be able to play Bruce Lee. Talk about a bummer. If you want to buy your way to victory then purchase Bruce Lee. Gamers are going to have a problem with that after paying for EA Sports UFC at retail.

EA Sports UFC is violent. There is no way getting around that. Bones can be broken, and they will hurt your fighter for the rest of the match. Players will punch, kick, and submit their opponents. Blood will spill in a realistic fashion. If you cut someone's forehead and keep hitting them there blood will flow.

The scantily clad ring girls are also present in EA Sports UFC. The men do not wear shirts when they fight. The female fighters wear a bit more than the men. I am very old school and do not like to watch women beat on one another. It just feels wrong.

Awesome God is one of the songs you can make your intro song in EA Sports UFC. I am happily surprised to see it. The announcers and presentation in EA Sports UFC are just like an UFC event. EA Canada put forth quite a bit of effort to make EA Sports UFC look and sound like a real event. Which also includes profanity unfortunately.

The faces and animations in EA Sports UFC look close to the real thing. Players have a stamina bar so you have to be strategic about your dynamic strikes. Body parts can be targeted and damaged in EA Sports UFC. This will impact your character and your opponent.

EA Sports UFC lets gamers create their own fighter, play online, and has FighterNet. Career mode is where most gamers will find themselves in EA Sports UFC. Work your way into the UFC, up the ladder, beat the champion and hold onto the belt as long as you can.

EA Sports UFC is only for the older members of the family. I noticed increased aggression levels after playing EA Sports UFC. This mixed martial arts video game can get the blood flowing, and make you more excitable. EA Sports UFC will not put you to sleep.

{UPDATE}: Family Friendly Gaming was provided a download code to play Bruce Lee. He is easy to win with. Family Friendly Gaming was also provided information that Bruce Lee is an unlockable character when gamers beat career mode on pro difficulty or higher.
