Farming Simulator 14

There is a reason Farming Simulator took the title of best simulation game at E3 2014. Nobody, and I mean nobody can deny this franchise is on the rise. Farming Simulator 14 on the PS Vita shows the depth of this farming simulation brand. Plus it is the best looking hand held version of Farming Simulator 14.

I can barely believe how good Farming Simulator 14 looks on the PS Vita. Comparing Farming Simulator 14 on the PS Vita to the Nintendo 3DS is no content. It is absolute domination. Like what the Seattle Seahawks did to the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII.

To me there is something soothing about listening to the idling engines of the farm equipment. I don't know what it is. It feels like a warm blanket. I know that sounds like something from Charlie Brown. But it is true. Farming Simulator 14 has fantastic sounds.

I had to help Kid Gamer with the Nintendo 3DS version of Farming Simulator 14. I paid close attention to the little tutorial boxes as I played Farming Simulator 14 on the PS Vita. There are things in Farming Simulator 14 that are not spelled out. Like where you go to sell your grain. There are dollar signs on the map, but not all of them are where you go to sell. What makes no sense to me is Farming Simulator 14 has quests that show you right where to go. Why not show newcomers to the franchise where to go from sowing to selling?

Farming Simulator 14 is a fun game once you get into it. I was very excited to play Farming Simulator 14 on the PS Vita. I also have some experience in how to play this franchise. One thing I do think the 3DS version does better is the map on the bottom screen. The slide in map screen on the PS Vita is not as convenient.

I hope Family Friendly Gaming Nation supports Farming Simulator 14 on the PS Vita (and the 3DS version as well). Why? I would love to see more games in this franchise on the hand held devices. To be totally transparent, I was not paid any money to make that statement.
