Fifa 15

The Fifa franchise is still trying to claw its way back up after including highly controversial content that sent families running. I have not discovered the offensive deviant content in Fifa 15 as of yet. It could be hidden in there somewhere. I know on launch day that EA Sports implemented a variety of bug fixes.

The big push in Fifa 15 is emotion. This home console next generation soccer title works to bring the stadium alive. Not just the stadium but also the players. They will show disgust on their face for missing a goal, or letting the ball pass into the goal. A lot of this is subtle.

I noticed immediately that Fifa 15 is more difficult. I had to go in there and tweak the different settings to make Fifa 15 competitive. Originally Fifa 15 was dominating me. After I got a solid win the game suggested I increase the difficulty setting. I guess the game now has emotions and it does not like losing.

There is music in Fifa 15 in the form of EA Trax. I turned that off because those songs were giving me a headache. I did not research all of the lyrics in the songs in Fifa 15. It would not surprise me if there are lyrics in those songs families will find offensive.

I feel bad for families with bandwidth issues and limitations. Why? Fifa 15 is around eighty percent online. There is very little to do offline in Fifa 15. EA Sports continues to move more and more of their games to online modes. Which is exclusionary of families who can not afford massive bandwidth usage contracts.

I noticed the tactics of the computer teams are more intelligent in Fifa 15. If they are behind they become very aggressive in trying to score. If they are ahead they will try and play keep away from you to run out the clock. I really enjoyed that since I like playing against the computer.
