Frederic Resurrection of Music
SCORE: 65
Family Friendly Gaming has innovated video game media coverage with
certain simple acknowledgements of reality. For example every single
video game teaches something. Some video games are more open and
transparent about what they are putting into our brains.
Frederic Resurrection of Music is a classic example. The storyline
brings a dead composer back in life to battle (musically) different
styles of music. He eventually stands up against a record executive who
is the evil guy. I wonder how they feel about the greedy executives in
the video game industry?
Frederic Resurrection of Music teaches us to stay true to our hearts. I
honestly expected the Happy Feet penguin to come out and start tap
dancing. If you did not get that connection, then you need to watch one
of the Happy Feet movies. Probably the first one.
There are a few issues families need to be aware of in Frederic
Resurrection of Music. There is bad language, some violent images, and
enticement to lust issues. There is also spiritual concepts, and
characters in Frederic Resurrection of Music. I am not clear on the
three muses - in terms of what they actually were.
There are multiple difficulty settings in Frederic Resurrection of
Music. The higher the setting you beat the game on, the better Arena
level you will unlock. Frederic Resurrection of Music shows its app
roots in a variety of ways, shapes, and forms.
The game play reminds me of Guitar Hero. The Wii U Gamepad has part of a
piano on it. Notes come from far way, and come towards the keys on the
keyboard. Once they are on the keys, we tap the keys. Even on the
easiest setting the notes come fast and furious. Winning provides a nod
to Mortal Kombat with the musicality.
The length of Frederic Resurrection of Music is a bit on the short side.
Frederic Resurrection of Music is also a download only title. Families
will not be able to find this musical home console video game at their
local retailers. The music in Frederic Resurrection of Music is
fantastic. I like a game that brings the focus back on classical music.
Now if there were only a video game that promoted Christian Praise and
Worship music on the Wii U.
