Gamestick

You know the old saying: "Be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it?" I asked for a Gamestick system. I was provided a Gamestick system. I had real high hopes and expectations for this easily to install home console system with download only video games.
The thing
I should have realized is Gamestick is in the UK. There is not currently
an US version of this video game console. Playing it in the US can be a
bit of a challenge. We ran into a couple of them while working on the
Gamestick for this review.
I believe there is a lot of potential in a Kickstarter backed system
like Gamestick. A HDMI connector that comes out of the controller is a
fantastic idea. A slick looking, and feeling controller are also pluses
of this system. The nice looking cords for charging are awesome.
The portability of the Gamestick gets lost when the HDMI connector has
to have a short cord to provide it power. There are additional cords so
the controller can charge at the same time. While they are all plugged
in the controller will not sync with the HMDI connector.
The problems we ran into with the Gamestick is it refused to connect to
our Wifi device. Multiple people tried for hours. There is also an issue
with the syncing of the device to the controller. The Gamestick rebooted
itself multiple times without any warning.
