JUJU

JUJU is a downloadable video game on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and Personal Computer. This game clocks in at 2.3 gigs on the PS3. You know what that means. JUJU should have been provided to families in the physical format. Many families can not afford to have a large enough Internet usage plan to download games like JUJU.

A young bear makes a mistake and unleashes all kinds of evil on the world. The beginning of JUJU has a Pandora's Box feel to it. His father gets captured and it is up to him and his friend to save the day. His friend looks like a giant salamander if you were wondering.

Players can walk, run, jump, play music, and speed dash their way through the levels. Players must use music to progress in certain portions of the levels in JUJU. There are secret coins that can be earned, as well as plenty of butterfly gems to collect.

JUJU is a 2D action adventure side scrolling video game with boss levels. The difficulty of JUJU is on the lower side. Which means the younger members of the family can play JUJU. There are only a couple of hearts in JUJU to start with. Collecting one hundred butterfly gems will earn you an additional heart. There are also hearts found in certain levels.

The graphics in JUJU are on the small side. Secrets are easy to find if you look around. There is cartoon violence as you can jump on certain enemies, and speed dash through other enemies. Certain graphical elements are re-used in multiple levels.

The music in JUJU is catchy. It does have a bit of a jungle feel to it. I enjoyed playing the drums with the main character. There is magical content within JUJU. The levels are fun to play for most ages. Older gamers may get bored with the level design.
