Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham
SCORE: 74
Somehow at some point I became the hand held expert on a variety of
video game franchises. Hand held video games are normally shorter than
their home console counterparts. So that may have something to do with
why I specialize in the hand held video games.
I have been beside myself in excitement over the release of Lego Batman
3 Beyond Gotham. I never know what TT Games has in store for Family
Friendly Gaming Nation. This hand held game lets us meet the Green
Lanterns. And the yellow lanterns, and orange lanterns, and red, and
blue, and purple, and indigo. Apologies to DC fanboys if I used the
wrong color descriptions. That is how they looked to me.
Expect some nice short levels in Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham. Which is
perfect for a hand held device. Swapping suits can be a bit of a pain at
times in Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham on the Nintendo 3DS. Swapping
characters is another story entirely.
Many of the cut scenes from the home console version of Lego Batman 3
Beyond Gotham can also be seen in the hand held. Which is cool since we
can learn the storyline from those neat little movies. It does not look
that bad on the little screen either.
Since I played the 3DS version of Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham I could
see the game in glorious 3D. It looks nice. I preferred to leave it off
most of the time to conserve the battery. Also so I could play more
levels without being plugged up into a charger.
There is a lower level of fighting in the hand held version of Lego
Batman 3 Beyond Gotham. Which I appreciate. Lego fights have bored me
for some time now. I want to find all the hidden stuff, build things and
collect the studs. Collecting the studs is one of the coolest things to
do in Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham.
I am going to continue to enjoy Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham on the 3DS
for months to come. I am also interested to see what kinds of things are
done in Lego Batman 4. We all know that it will be coming at some point.
I just hope for Lego City Undercover 2 first.
