Man of Steel

Family Friendly Gaming has commented on Superman before. He is similar to Jesus Christ in some ways. He differs in plenty of ways. So reviewing Man of Steel is a back and forth struggle in some regards. This movie touches on free will versus predestination. In Krypton everyone was born for a certain purpose. They could not deviate from their role. Kal-el was born freely from that system. Which gave him free will.

Krpyton had order. Even to the point of the people staying on the planet as it died. Earth has free will, and all kinds of chaos and evil. Superman has to decide between the two worlds. Which of these two systems will continue in the future. Cynics will say Clark Kent only knows Earth so that has to be his choice. He also has curiosity surrounding his birth parents. So I will not spoil some of the choices he makes in Man of Steel.

The levels of violence in Man of Steel are very high. I was shocked at how much damage the battles inflicted. It was like a nuclear bomb going off in a city. There is plenty of death in Man of Steel. Even scenes of murder. Not a movie for children in any way, shape or form.

Man of Steel is filled with all kinds of Kryptonian content. From space ships, to character, and even their amazing armor. The technology of Krpyton is shown in an interesting way. Almost like mercury that can be computer controlled. Jor-el is shown as quite the action hero himself.

Plenty of well known actors and actresses can be found in Man of Steel. The lady that plays Lois Lane just does not fit for me. Neither does Perry. But it is more of Hollywood trying to change things. They have ruined more characters than I can count.

We purchased the two disc DVD package of Man of Steel. I was interested in seeing the behind the scenes bonus content. Unfortunately much of it is rah, rah, look at me. You know where everyone talks about how awesome everyone else associated with the film was. Sort of like every company telling their employees they are the best workers in the world. How can every company have the best?
