Power Rangers Super Megaforce

Bandai Namco Games has tried different formulas over recent years to make a Power Rangers video game. To be honest, most of them have not been very good. Walk a few feet, beat up a few guys, and repeat the process. At worst those games were boring behind belief.

Power Rangers Super Megaforce is just a bit different. I was sucked in immediately. There is the run a bit, fight a bit, and repeat levels. There were boss levels, and giant robot battles. What captivated me is leveling up the Power Rangers. There are thirty of them too.

Power Rangers Super Megaforce forces kids to grind like in a role playing game. This is an action adventure hack and slash game though. The combination works because of how diverse the Power Rangers are. They have different kinds of attacks so you can find the style that works best for you.

The music and dialogue is typical Power Rangers. The quirky enemy characters are in Power Rangers Super Megaforce. They look better in this hand held video game, than they do on the television show. The Power Rangers look good in this 3DS game.

There is action adventure violence in Power Rangers Super Megaforce. Players whack many of the same looking enemies. They get harder and harder with each level. Which means you will need to level up who you are fighting with to beat certain levels. You could stick with the same two Power Rangers, but what fun is that?

Out of all the Power Ranger hand held games in the past I like Power Rangers Super Megaforce the best.Levels are quick and easy to get through. Leveling up, and purchasing health items is cool. Boss battles are fun. Zord battles are all about tapping and timing. They broke up the action perfectly.
