Puddle
SCORE: 75
The cool thing about ports of video games is they can reach a larger
audience. The down side to video game ports is if you already own them
on another system. You are not all wet if you think Puddle sounds
familiar. Family Friendly Gaming has reviewed Puddle on the Xbox 360,
Playstation 3, and on the Wii U. Puddle can also be found on the iOS app
store.
If you are familiar with Puddle then you know it is all about moving
some form of liquid through deviously designed levels. These levels do
everything possible to help you shed some of your liquid weight. Which
is a bad thing since so much is needed to complete any of the levels.
Puddle does allow you a couple of whines. What is a whine? Is it family
friendly?. Is it safe for children? A whine in Puddle lets you skip a
level. Be strategic about using these since there are only so many of
them. Plus I felt bad using them because of their name.
Puddle starts easy, but it can get difficult. Especially when we are
only moving the screen left and right to gain momentum for our long
strings of liquid. As I progressed through this game (again) I would
lose liquid to a variety of different things. Heaters, plants, and more.
There is some gross humor in Puddle. I wish this home console
downloadable video game had more family friendly content. I can think of
plenty of safer ideas for game levels. Maybe a sequel to Puddle will
include more levels safer for families. There are some safe levels in
Puddle. The bad ones are what earns the rating. Puddle does contain the
Cross-Buy feature so it can be played on the PS4 and PS Vita.
