Scooby-Doo! & Looney Tunes Cartoon Universe Adventure

My excitement bubbled over when I heard about Scooby-Doo! & Looney Tunes Cartoon Universe Adventure on the Nintendo 3DS. Taking Scooby-Doo and adding in Looney Tunes is brilliant. My mind raced at how the two franchises would be put together.

The first thing Scooby-Doo! & Looney Tunes Cartoon Universe Adventure let me do was pick my animal. I could then decide what kind of a color to make my animal. From there I was able to start to play in Looney Tunes, or Scooby-Doo.

Scooby-Doo! & Looney Tunes Cartoon Universe Adventure is very heavy on the Looney Tunes, and very light on the Scooby-Doo. There are three worlds for Looney Tunes, and one world for Scooby-Do. Each world contains four levels for kids to play.

Scooby-Doo! & Looney Tunes Cartoon Universe Adventure is a kids game. Adults will find Scooby-Doo! & Looney Tunes Cartoon Universe Adventure to be a bit too easy. Us kids will find various areas of difficulty. Especially in the Scooby-Doo levels.

The action adventure levels in Scooby-Doo! & Looney Tunes Cartoon Universe Adventure can be confusing. Especially when the giant arrow points the direction to go. However walls, and other obstacles may be in the way. Which means at times it pointed right and I had to go to the left to progress through the level.

There is action adventure violence in Scooby-Doo! & Looney Tunes Cartoon Universe Adventure. There are bosses that need to be vanquished. Various enemies can be fought or ignored. Presents, safes, chests, boxes, and more contain coins and health items (as long as you need them). Coins are used to purchase clothes that will change the look of your main character.

The voices sounded a bit off in Scooby-Doo! & Looney Tunes Cartoon Universe Adventure. The music is nice though. The wacky Looney Tunes story is light but fun. The Scooby-Doo mystery is also light, but interesting. I loved seeing all these different characters in this hand held game. I just wish they were connected someway.
