Tappingo 2
SCORE: 90
We deal with a wide array of companies here at Family Friendly
Gaming. From the largest corporations making billions to the smallest
game developers that are only one person. Generally speaking the smaller
game developers are more of a pleasure to work with. They are more
thankful, show their thanks in meaningful ways, and are more
transparent.
This is where Tappingo 2 enters stage right on the Nintendo 3DS. This
downloadable only video game continues the franchise in important and
meaningful ways. The same game play mechanic from the first game is
continued in Tappingo 2. In other words, more of a good thing.
Tappingo 2 can be a mind teaser at times. We swipe on the numbers in
whatever direction we can. Finding the right direction to move the
numbers is the key. The more crowded the screen is in Tappingo 2, the
harder it can be to get all of the numbers swiped.
Tappingo 2 looks a bit better than Mine Sweeper - which is due to
colors. I like the retro look to Tappingo 2. The sounds and sound
effects in Tappingo 2 are fantastic. If you happen to not like them,
then you can turn them off in the options menu.
It would be awesome if Tappingo 2 is released in physical format in the
future. Maybe a compilation cartridge that includes both of the Tappingo
hand held video games. The coolest thing about Tappingo 2 is seeing the
picture after completing a level.
