Thunder and the House of Magic

When people talk about family friendly animated movies they normally are talking about Disney. They are not the only ones who do it. In fact Shout Factory has been growing that department for years now. Family Friendly Gaming is pleased to see it happening.

Thunder and the House of Magic is a movie that families will be able to enjoy. A little kitten is abandoned by a family moving. He is exposed to the big world with all kinds of dangers. He comes across a spooky house of an elderly gentleman who is a magician.

When Thunder (the kitten) gets to the magician's house full of little robots, he runs into a mouse and a rabbit. Those two are very hostile to him. The love birds are much nicer to Thunder. The majority of the conflict in Thunder and the House of Magic deals with the cat, mouse, and rabbit.

The magician's nephew is a real estate agent and he wants to sell the old man's house. He wants to send his elderly relative off to a retirement home. A bicycle accident gives him the opportunity he has been looking for. His one achilles heel is he is allergic to cats. This is where Thunder helps the home, animals, and little robotic characters.

Thunder and the House of Magic does have one language issue. A certain character likes to use a word families will find offensive and possible vulgar. The definition of the word is to send something to hell. It was only used a few times but it was noticeable.

Overall Thunder and the House of Magic is a cute movie that teaches us to not abuse our elders. It also condemns dumping of animals. Thunder and the House of Magic also teaches us to work together to stop the greed of the real estate community.

The magic elements are light in Thunder and the House of Magic. They are mainly sleight of hand that we see in the real world. The scary elements are also very light in Thunder and the House of Magic. There are a few moments of peril here and there. The first cat perspective used briefly here and there is awesome.
