Transformers Rise of the Dark Spark
SCORE: 60
Transformers Rise of the Dark Spark is a multi-platform third person
shooter video game. Players are also able to melee attack enemies that
are close enough to them. Thanks to the limitations on ammunition, you
will use melee repeatedly.
Transformers Rise of the Dark Spark bridges the Transformers movies in
the theaters, and the Cybertron video games from Activision. Which is a
really neat cross over. In many ways that makes Transformers Rise of the
Dark Spark better than most movie based video games.
There is animated blood in Transformers Rise of the Dark Spark. I wish I
knew why the ESRB was not able to put it on the game case. Especially
when previous Transformer games had the same blood, and had the
descriptor on the video game boxes.
How do you feel about progress made in single players games? Don't you
wish multi-player modes contained it as well? Transformers Rise of the
Dark Spark has you covered. The leveling up, character development, and
experience can be applied to either mode.
The violence in Transformers Rise of the Dark Spark gets boring. Go into
an area, and kill off the enemy characters. Go into the next area, and
we do the same thing. Do this enough times in a row, and you might find
it difficult to make it to next room. I did. There are some variations
like waiting for a train - where wave after wave of enemies come to you.
Transformers Rise of the Dark Spark does swap players back and forth
between Autobots and Decepticons. So one chapter is for one, and the
next one we play the other one. You might need to be strategic about who
you level up, and what things you unlock.
Transformers Rise of the Dark Spark is for the older members of the
family only. Kids will get aggressive after playing Transformers Rise of
the Dark Spark. I had violent tendencies after playing Transformers Rise
of the Dark Spark. So this home console game can create real world
conflict.
