Vacation Adventures Park Ranger

Family Friendly Gaming has covered hidden object games for some time now. Plenty of them on the iPad, a few on the PC, and a few on the Nintendo 3DS. This is where we find Vacation Adventures Park Ranger - on the 3DS. This downloadable hand held video game does something really neat.

If you have read my mountain of reviews then you know I get bored with hidden object games that repeat the same thing and same screens over and over again. Vacation Adventures Park Ranger breaks up the action in a really neat way. How so? With different mini games between the hidden object screens.

The best thing about the mini games in Vacation Adventures Park Ranger is they can be skipped. Families need to wait for the bar to charge first. I found I could get about one quarter through the mini game before I was allowed to skip it. Then it was up to me. Do I want to keep doing it, or move on.

Vacation Adventures Park Ranger looks nice. I like seeing the different screens, zooming in, and finding the hidden objects. The music in Vacation Adventures Park Ranger is nice. It made me feel like I was out on the range or out in the wild west.

My one issue with Vacation Adventures Park Ranger can be found in plenty of hidden object games. I would tap an item on the list, and nothing would happen. I had to tap a different part of the object, and then it would work. This can lead to frustration.

Vacation Adventures Park Ranger is kind to offer the player hints in case they are really stuck. The biggest hurdle you may have in finding objects is knowing what certain things are. Like a dream catcher for example. I had no idea what that was.
