ABCzoo.com

Family Friendly Gaming has reviewed a wide array of children's video games and apps over the years. ABCzoo.com is the latest in a long line of products to smile, and teach children fun lessons. Family Friendly Gaming was a provided a download code for this iPad learning game. ABCzoo.com is for children before they go to school. School age children can still play ABCzoo.com.

There are five mini games in ABCzoo.com. They are Puzzle, Restaurant Zoo, Listen & Learn, Animal Posts, and Build an Animal. I will attempt to explain what children do in each of the games within ABCzoo.com. All of them are learning in some form or fashion. So you know your $1.99 was spent on something helpful for your children. As a parent myself that is always important to me.

The first mini game in ABCzoo.com I am going to explain is Puzzle. Think of a jigsaw puzzle mini game for children. There are not many pieces and only one  piece shows on the screen at a time. There is a neat little animation after the picture has been created. Restaurant Zoo is all about feeding the animals. Children are shown an animal and given three choices. Kids need to pick what that animal likes to eat.

The Listen & Learn game in ABCzoo.com requires sound, and a hearing ability with the child. Meaning deaf children will not be able to play Listen & Learn. There are three animals and the game gives the child a sound. They have to pick which animal or object makes that sound. Then another sound, and finally the third sound. On the third sound kids can just pick the remaining animal or object without even listening.

Animal Posts in ABCzoo.com is about sorting letters between the animals, food, and things bags. Kids must decide where each letter fits. The final mini game in ABCzoo.com is Build an Animal. In this game kids will see a silhouette of an animal. They will be given body parts one at a time. The goal is to put the animal part in the right spot. Complete the animal for a little celebration.

ABCzoo.com also teaches kids counting. Between many of the mini games a child character will appear holding on to some balloons. The child must pop the balloons to move on to another round of that mini game. ABCzoo.com will count as each balloon is being popped. ABCzoo.com is a cute little learning game that kids can really get into. I enjoyed playing it, and so did our youngest son.
