Adventure Time Finn and Jake Investigations

I am so thankful Family Friendly Gaming was provided a reviewable copy of Adventure Time Finn and Jake Investigations on the Wii U. A download code was provided that clocked in just under 1.5 gigs. I am going to ask that Family Friendly Gaming purchase a physical copy in the future. Why? There is only so much room on the Wii U hard drive, and we can't keep games on it for very long. That is actually the case with every modern day system we play games on. Which is one of the many reasons physical copies of games are so much better.

Adventure Time Finn and Jake Investigations is broken into two styles of game play. The first is walk (or run) around the areas and finding items to interact with. We can pick some up, merge some of them, and use some in certain situations. At the core of each chapter is some investigation we are performing. The second game play style is where we get into combat. Like the Dungeon Train for example.

Fighting in Adventure Time Finn and Jake Investigations is more fun than it may sound. Finn and Jake have a fist bump bar. Once it powers up Jake can be used to morph into a more powerful form to destroy the bad guys much easier. Fighting also breaks up some of the mindbogglingly difficult puzzles. Adventure Time Finn and Jake Investigations does not offer any hints. So solve it, or rage quit.

Adventure Time Finn and Jake Investigations is worth the price of admission in my opinion. The game is long, especially when family members get stuck. I asked for help on more than one occurrence while playing Adventure Time Finn and Jake Investigations on the Wii U. I had to learn to merge items, since the game did not even show me that at any point. I felt that was an important option to know about.

If you know Adventure Time, then there are plenty of funny moments and comments in Adventure Time Finn and Jake Investigations. Everyone that played or watched Adventure Time Finn and Jake Investigations laughed hysterically at certain comments in Adventure Time Finn and Jake Investigations. The original voices from the show are in this game, which is another bonus.

I enjoyed Adventure Time Finn and Jake Investigations. When things work and I made progress I was having a blast. When I had missed something, or it did not work as I expected it to, then I had less fun. Thankfully there are more times with things working Adventure Time Finn and Jake Investigations. The 3D look fits this game perfectly. I just wish the world was completely open instead of limited areas.
