Affordable Space Adventures
SCORE: 79
There are mountains of indie games that are just meh. Which is why it
is wonderful to come across a game like Affordable Space Adventures.
This game scream quality. It feels like a PC puzzler. There are plenty
of them on Steam. Affordable Space Adventures is on the Wii U, and does
a fantastic job of being interactive. From the storyline to the
controls.
The game is explained in the beginning like a commercial on television.
There is an opportunity to explore an alien planet. It is completely
safe of course. Nothing bad could ever happen to you. Skeptics will see
right through that kind of company propaganda. Affordable Space
Adventures lets players decide if they want to be a tourist or to be
more technical. That is the difficulty settings in this downloadable
only Wii U game.
Like so many video games today, Affordable Space Adventures throws new
tools and new challenges at a nice interval. While I was watching my
sound, heat, and electrical gauges to get past a variety of gun turrets
it hit me. Affordable Space Adventures is a really solid video game.
This is the kind of a video game that could easily be sold on a disc at
retail stores.
Family members can work together playing Affordable Space Adventures
too. One player can play Affordable Space Adventures all by themselves
and control all of the systems. Or up to three family members can play
together and each control different systems. In that case you will need
to clearly communicate what needs to be done or watch your poor little
ship get blown to bits.
The ship getting destroyed is the violent images in Affordable Space
Adventures. This can happen a variety of ways. Things like laser beams,
gun turrets, vegetation, over heating engines, and more. The goal of
every area in Affordable Space Adventures is to get through it. This
requires thought as well as trial and error. Some solutions are
apparent, and others will require a diverse perspective.
