Alphabet Robots Mahjong

You know how we have been talking about reviewing more of the products we want to review? Alphabet Robots Mahjong is one of those products. EnsenaSoft is an advertiser with Family Friendly Gaming. They did not request this review. In fact they are not even aware that we are playing it and reviewing it. Paul found Alphabet Robots Mahjong, showed it to me, and we have both been playing it for weeks.

I love Mahjong games. Too many of them throw in Eastern religious symbols, and teachings. Alphabet Robots Mahjong does not do that. In fact Alphabet Robots Mahjong teaches numbers, letters, and shapes. Not only are they what we match, but Alphabet Robots Mahjong tells you the letters, numbers and shapes. So Alphabet Robots Mahjong is reinforced learning of these important symbols.

Do not think Alphabet Robots Mahjong is just for kids though. As an adult I find a fun, and cool challenge in Alphabet Robots Mahjong. I can shuffle the tiles at any time if I am having trouble finding a match. Alphabet Robots Mahjong auto shuffles when no matches are available. Which is a cool feature. Especially when we consider there is a timer to find a match.

Wait a timer? Yes Alphabet Robots Mahjong has a timer. It is a fuse that is slowly shrinking at the top of the screen. This is a neat way to keep families on task while playing Alphabet Robots Mahjong. If I needed to step away I just closed the app. It was rare I got stuck in Alphabet Robots Mahjong though. I would shuffle if the timer hit the half way point, and usually could find a match much quicker.

Alphabet Robots Mahjong is a true try before you buy app. There is a light version that provided fifty-six levels to try. Then it is ninety-nine cents to get all 168 levels. The full version downloads as a different app, so you will have to replay any levels you beat in the lite version of Alphabet Robots Mahjong. A mild inconvenience in my opinion. Probably because I like this game so much. Alphabet Robots Mahjong is a good game for families.
