Centipede Infestation
SCORE: 46
Centipede Infestation is one of the most boring video games I have ever played in my entire life. Bugs come at us from all directions and we shoot them. They explode in a bloody mess, and then more bugs come from the same spot. In fact the repetitive pattern is one of the reasons this Wii game is so bad. There are other reasons I will get to in this review. Along with a final decision.
The graphics in Centipede Infestation are okay at best. Some of them look horrible, and the repetitive nature of the graphics is another problem. How many of the same kinds of bugs can we kill in a level? Why does the level just stop suddenly? There are horrible animations in Centipede Infestation too. Like they were only half done.
Centipede Infestation contains some voice sound bytes that sound nothing like an actual conversation. It is like someone was hired off the street to read lines from a page. I felt little emotion in Centipede Infestation. Maybe because the story was missing large chunks like the animations.
There are two things I enjoyed in Centipede Infestation. The first was the different power ups that could be attained from certain spider enemies. The second was the boss fights. They had a bit of thought put into them. The tower defenses earn an honorable mention. I wish it would work all the time though. At times I would blow up the right bug and no tower defense would appear. It was annoying to say the least.
Centipede Infestation is a murder them all type of game. It gets the juices flowing, and increases the aggression levels. The main lesson in Centipede Infestation is to get them before they get you. Make yourself stronger to keep getting them until they can no longer get you back. Centipede Infestation has selfishness at its core. Pass on Centipede Infestation on the Wii. You can thank me later.
