Give It Up! 2

I am thankful Family Friendly Gaming was provided a download code for Give It Up! 2 on the iPhone and iPad. This ninety-nine cent app has some really cool things going for it. You better be ready for the challenge though. Give It Up! 2 can be extremely tough. Since there are only eighteen levels, it makes sense. Most games that come into Family Friendly Gaming Universe that are short on levels, are high on difficulty.

Players are given a blank ink blob kind of a character that bounces on these pads. The levels in Give It Up! 2 contain multiple paths. Players can jump up to a higher line and try to complete that instead of the lower ones. It is all up to your family to explore the multiple paths in Give It Up! 2. This helps the replay value in Give It Up! 2. I appreciate a developer putting in multiple paths.

The music in Give It Up! 2 is thumping. There are plenty of good beats in Give It Up! 2. Families need to pay attention visually and audible to complete levels in Give It Up! 2. My rhythm is obviously not very good because I had my ink blob character die on spikes, walls, and more in Give It Up! 2. I found Give It Up! 2 to be extremely difficult since I had to tap at exactly the right point to avoid the dangers.

The graphics in Give It Up! 2 are a bit on the dark side in terms of tones. When the black ink blob character hits a circular panel it lights up. The color changes when you go higher thanks to the spring pads. The game play took me many tries to get used to. Even then one mistake and it was start all over again. Continuation points within the levels would have been awesome.

I like Give It Up! 2 on the iOS platform. It is a tapper that bounces to the beat of the music. I can see all kinds of cool things that could be done, like power-ups that let players jump ten tiles at a time or something. It would help casual gamers who are going to struggle with the difficulty of Give It Up! 2 on the iPhone and iPad. I hope to see future games in this franchise.
