High Heat Major League Baseball 2004

After playing High Heat Major League Baseball 2003 and liking it so much we decided to purchase the rest of the High Heat Major League Baseball video games. This review is for High Heat Major League Baseball 2004 on the Playstation 2, and Personal Computer. Please note I played High Heat Major League Baseball 2004 on the Playstation 2. That is also the system used in the video capture of this home console sports video game.

The biggest improvement I noticed in High Heat Major League Baseball 2004 is the collision detection on the baseball bags. So now when the first baseman gets the ball and you run him to first base it is much easier. I appreciate that since it was the only real complaint we had concerning High Heat Major League Baseball 2003. There are numerous real baseball moments in High Heat Major League Baseball 2004.

High Heat Major League Baseball 2004 looks good, and it sounds good. There are also a ton of different modes in this baseball video game. A total of eleven game modes can be found in High Heat Major League Baseball 2004. Families can get months of entertainment out of High Heat Major League Baseball 2004. Want to know something else? High Heat Major League Baseball 2004 can be purchased for a really low price. I bought this game for under four dollars.

The graphics in High Heat Major League Baseball 2004 continue to look good. Especially for that era in time. The animations feel fluid, and look realistic. The announcers have realistic comments as well. You may wind up with hecklers, and disapproving fans if you do poorly. Multiple difficulty settings make High Heat Major League Baseball 2004 approachable by all skill sets. I am close to graduating out of the 'Pro' difficulty setting myself.

I like the Perfect Contact batting system in High Heat Major League Baseball 2004. I felt like I could place the ball more often thanks to that batting system. I also noticed timing and figuring out the pitches is very important. High Heat Major League Baseball 2004 made me feel like a real baseball player in looking for certain pitches, and find where to pitch to certain batters.

I love being able to sim games, pick different teams, and take my favorite team to the World Series in the Playoffs area. I also really like the home run derby in High Heat Major League Baseball 2004. Two family members can pick teams and have some friendly competition thanks to High Heat Major League Baseball 2004. High Heat Major League Baseball 2004 earns the rarely given seal of approval.
