Jake and the Never Land Pirates Battle for the Book

There are some people who run the other direction when they hear the theme song to Jake and the Never Land Pirates. I have the opposite reaction. I enjoy watching this kids show. It is bright colorful, fun, vibrant, and helpful. Yes it can be naive at times. If everyone was helpful in our world like in this animated one then our world would be a better place.

Jake and the Never Land Pirates Battle for the Book came into Family Friendly Gaming recently, and we are thankful Disney sent us a reviewable copy of this DVD. It also comes with a Checkerboard Bandana. Kids can use it as a bandana, and they can play checkers on it.

The episodes on Jake and the Never Land Pirates Battle for the Book are Battle For The Book Part 1, Battle For The Book Part 2, Treasure of the Pirate Mummy's Tomb, Mystery of the Missing Treasure, Pirate Genie Tales, Captain Gizmo, Jake's Pirate Swap Meet, Sleeping Mermaid, and Jake's Mega-Mecha Sword.

The run time of Jake and the Never Land Pirates Battle for the Book clocks in at 141 minutes. Plus there is also ten Jake's Never Land Pirate School Cartoon Shorts. And there is that previously mentioned Checkerboard Bandana. Which kids really get into.

The main story in Jake and the Never Land Pirates Battle for the Book brings in Wendy, John, and Michael. Plus Peter Pan and Tinker Bell make appearances. It was really cool to see original movie characters in Jake and the Never Land Pirates Battle for the Book on DVD.

There are a variety of lessons in Jake and the Never Land Pirates Battle for the Book. Kids learn to work together, not to steal, help one another, be creative, and find solutions based on what you have. There are also a variety of mythical characters in Jake and the Never Land Pirates Battle for the Book. From mummies, to genies, to mermaids.
