Lego Minifigures Online

Family Friendly Gaming was provided a code to play Lego Minifigures Online on the Personal Computer. This is a stand alone PC game that does not require a portal like Steam to play it. Lego Minifigures Online is also an online video game. That means other players, and a big hit on your Internet usage. I will write more on that issue later in this review. Lego Minifigures Online follows the concept of the different Lego mini figures found in packs at stores.

Lego Minifigures Online looks decent, and has a nice frame rate. There is plenty of Lego hack and slash violence. Characters also have a special attack that takes a few seconds to charge after it has been used. I liked the Pizza Delivery Guy's special attack. He drops pizzas on a pizza shaped area. This can damage multiple enemies at the same time. The majority of what we do in Lego Minifigures Online is smash and bash other Lego characters. We can also smash and bash objects for stars.

Stars are important in Lego Minifigures Online. They allow players to upgrade their characters. It does not take long to accumulate multiple characters in Lego Minifigures Online. What about building objects in Lego Minifigures Online? We build a few of them here and there. Like a heart sign in a boss battle. Or a cannon that launches us to another area. The building is really light in Lego Minifigures Online though.

I tried a variety of religious words and found most of them blocked. It will be difficult for most people to share their faith while playing Lego Minifigures Online. Those that believe in nothing are essentially granted their way as the predominate belief allowed in Lego Minifigures Online. It is an interesting debate because parents do not want their belief discriminated against. Nor do they want their children brainwashed into a false belief.

Lego Minifigures Online is a long game with plenty of quests, side quests, characters, upgrades, and areas to go to. The problem is how much Internet it will eat up. Many families have limits on Internet, and pay a lot of money for the bandwidth. Lego Minifigures Online does not need the social element. In fact Lego Minifigures Online would be so much better as a stand alone offline adventure. Maybe call it Lego Minifigures Adventure or Lego Minifigures Quest. I wish Lego Minifigures Online had an offline only mode.

I would also like to see Lego Minifigures Online on the home consoles in a physical form. I know this game could be put on discs and sold on the Xbox One, PS4, and probably Wii U. Lego Minifigures Online might even work on the PS Vita. Many more families could be reached if Lego Minifigures Online had a stand alone offline mode. Many of my friends won't be able to play Lego Minifigures Online because of the Internet costs.
