Letter Land Mahjong

Family Friendly Gaming purchased Letter Land Mahjong a month ago. We have been playing it for this review. This downloadable only hand held video game on the iPhone and iPad is Mahjong with letters, numbers, colors, and a few shapes. Could a child learn more about letters and numbers thanks to Letter Land Mahjong? Yes they can. Letter Land Mahjong is not learning game at its heart, but there are aspects of it where a child can learn.

The graphics in Letter Land Mahjong are pleasant to look at. I do think Alphabet Robots Mahjong looks better than Letter Land Mahjong (in the tiles and the backgrounds). There are different configurations of the Mahjong tiles in Letter Land Mahjong. There are one hundred and sixty-eight different puzzles in Letter Land Mahjong. Players can pause the game at any time, and finish it later.

The music is great in Letter Land Mahjong. Ensenasoft has a talent for good music in their games. Some of it may be in other games. That does not bother me though. Letter Land Mahjong can be found for ninety-nine cents, or free. The free version of Letter Land Mahjong is a lite version so you can try so many levels before making the full and complete one dollar purchase.

The matching in Letter Land Mahjong is at a level that kids can enjoy. I was never stuck in Letter Land Mahjong. I never had the bar at the top of the screen drain down to nothing. I always found a match, or shuffled the tiles and found a match. I love the option of shuffling tiles in Letter Land Mahjong. So many Mahjong games end if you can find no more matches. That is no fun, and makes me feel like I wasted all that time. Ensenasoft is much kinder to families in this regard.

I like Letter Land Mahjong on the iPhone and iPad. I would love to see physical copies of these Mahjong games on the 3DS and/or PS Vita in the near future. Letter Land Mahjong is a solid game that all ages of the family can enjoy. The more I played Letter Land Mahjong, the more I got into it. It provides many hours of matching entertainment that is safe for the entire family.
