Momonga Pinball Adventures
SCORE: 78
Outside of Zen Studios there are not many pinball video games worth
your time. That is until Momonga Pinball Adventures came into Family
Friendly Gaming Universe. This bright, colorful action adventure pinball
video game is sort of like Rollers of the Realm only better. Momonga
Pinball Adventures is not held back by a lot of offensive content(in
Rollers of the Realm) that will turn families away. Momonga Pinball
Adventures is a safer way to have an action adventure pinball video
game.
We do more than just pinball in Momonga Pinball Adventures on the Wii U
though. There are gliding areas, and bonus levels. I just wish there
were more levels in Momonga Pinball Adventures. Sadly Momonga Pinball
Adventures is lacking in that one department. I also love having a
story, and other characters to play in Momonga Pinball Adventures. I did
some research and found Momonga Pinball Adventures actually came from
the iOS and Android platforms.
Momonga Pinball Adventures is selling for $5.99 at the time this review
was being crafted. The cleverness, and level design warrant the price. I
just wish there were more levels in Momonga Pinball Adventures. I could
see Momonga Pinball Adventures selling in local retailers in a physical
copy format if it had three times the amount of levels. Maybe have
different characters with different storylines and have them intersect
at certain levels. Like what happened in Shining Force III.
The music in Momonga Pinball Adventures is fantastic. I loved listening
to it while playing this downloadable only home console video game. The
graphics look good on the Wii U. We do roll into things, and break
objects (like stones, walls, jars, etc) in Momonga Pinball Adventures.
That is where the violence comes in. To be honest I see Momonga Pinball
Adventures as an everyone six and older game. There are plenty of E10+
rated games with ten times worse content than this game (like most 3DS
games from Atlus). If Momonga Pinball Adventures is an E10+ game, then
they should be 'T' at a minimum.
The voices in Momonga Pinball Adventures are all Japanese. At least I
think that is Japanese. I don't speak it, so I had not clue what was
being said. The words on the bottom of the screen are in English. There
are some humorous translation moments if you are paying attention. All
in all I like Momonga Pinball Adventures. The app migration onto the Wii
U has received a solid title that will interest families.
