My Pet School 3D
SCORE: 78
Do you know what one of the coolest things is about reviewing video
games? Being heard. Companies take our advice. Case in point My Pet
School 3D on the Nintendo 3DS. We have been asking for a tutorial from
Raylight Studios, and Treva Entertainment for many games now. Guess what
I found when I started to play My Pet School 3D? That is right a
tutorial. I am as happy as a tornado in a trailer park.
We are able to train a variety of different animals in My Pet School 3D.
We have to house them, feed them, clean their areas, and more. Teaching
them commands like their own name can be challenging. Maybe I am a bit
too impatient, because I wanted to breeze through things like that.
Getting stuck on it for a few in game days was frustrating. I kept going
back to the tutorial to see if I missed something. A small gif showing
what to do would have been a tad more helpful since I thought I was
doing what this hand held game told me to do.
My Pet School 3D is a downloadable only video game on the Nintendo 3DS.
The words on the screen can be small. I also had issues tapping certain
commands on certain screens. I guess the collision detection area is on
the small side. My boys tried My Pet School 3D and fussed about the
commands not always working when they tapped on them. Be prepared for
that.
My Pet School 3D looks okay for a 3D game. I like how realistically the
animals animate. The buildings in the town are average looking. The
human characters look fine from a distance. They also animate
realistically - generally. The music in My Pet School 3D is fantastic. I
love the musical tracks in My Pet School 3D. I think they should release
them on iTunes.
The main lesson in My Pet School 3D is taking care of and training your
animals. Families can learn how to manage a business. There are always
challenges. I appreciate how My Pet School 3D does not drown us with
governmental regulations. That is something that kills a lot of
businesses in the real world. My Pet School 3D is a video game though.
Something I reminded myself of while playing. So it will not accurately
depict everything in our world.
