I enjoyed seeing the different areas and characters. Blood and violence is a part of Nancy Drew Sea of Darkness. Please keep that in mind in determining the age of the family member you allow to play this three gig video game.

Family Friendly Gaming was provided a physical copy for Nancy Drew Sea of Darkness. This would be a big game to download. Part of the reason Nancy Drew Sea of Darkness is so large is the graphics. Another part is all of the audio. Lengthy conversations are possible with many of the characters. In fact you will need to talk to them to move this mystery PC game forward in certain parts.

Some of the puzzles in Nancy Drew Sea of Darkness are hard to figure out. I had to Bing search some of them just to get by them. I wish there had been a way to skip past them like in some other video games on the market. I was on the easiest setting - Amateur too. At the same time some of these puzzles are very educational. Like what the different sails on a ship are called.

I did not like how Nancy Drew blew off her boyfriend. She takes him for granted and should lose him for being so self centered. Nancy Drew in Nancy Drew Sea of Darkness is being the opposite of supportive and submissive. Yet she expects that from her boyfriend. So a complete role reversal that bothers me. I expect we will see Nancy Drew video games make it to the fifty mark in the next decade.
