RymdResa

Family Friendly Gaming was provided a download code for RymdResa on
Steam. This Personal Computer exploration video game is set in space. At
the start of RymdResa we see our planet destroyed. RymdResa is not clear
on whether we are alive or dead. Are we an astronaut or a robot? There
is also a guilt factor in the cryptic storyline in RymdResa. As well as
trying to find a new planet.
The WMG found numerous planets in RymdResa. As well as spaceships,
satellites, telescopes, black holes, colliding planets, and more. These
objects can provide resources, or they can take them away. There is a
leveling up system in RymdResa that makes our ship stronger, use
technology better, collect more resources, and scavenge better.
Resources also are used up when we accelerate through space.
One of the aspects to RymdResa is to see how many years you can survive.
This sounds easy, but it is not. Especially when families first start to
play RymdResa on the Personal Computer. It can take resources to get to
the item the game points you toward. Dying with the basic first ship is
no problem. Just launch again and retain all of your level ups. This is
a great way to improve your stats and see more of the randomly
generating galaxies.
Graphically RymdResa looks a bit stale. There are moments like when a
giant planet orbits near you. This brings up a quirk in RymdResa. What
are these planets revolving around? There are suns in RymdResa but I saw
planets orbiting around asteroids, space stations and other objects that
are not suns. I also found numerous suns with no planets.
The gravity aspect in RymdResa works great. Until you check out the
planet, and then all of its gravity is lost. Getting too close to a sun
is usually death since the damage you take is the same gauge as your
fuel (aka resources). Once your ship explodes you will see the Oracle of
Death. It can be important to equip items as you find them since they
will make you more powerful. The same things for increasing stats when
you level up.
The music in RymdResa is fabulous. The eerie voice and text are not that
great. The Family Friendly Gaming controller worked with RymdResa. There
are multiple ships and chapters in RymdResa. I can see RymdResa working
really well on the Wii U. The whole fuel based resources is a cool idea.
Even though RymdResa gets repetitive, it can also be addicting.
