Snail Bob 2
SCORE: 90
I like the concept in the Snail Bob franchise. We have a snail that
we must move from the entrance of a screen to an exit. There are also
stars hidden on the screen. Some screens even have puzzle pieces hidden.
That way we can build cool looking images with the puzzle pieces. Snail
Bob 2 is very large looking on the Steam platform. Which is played on a
Personal Computer.
Some of ya'll might be wondering about Snail Bob 2. Isn't it a free game
out there on other sites. Like on Coolmath? A very limited and smaller
version of Snail Bob 2 is available online for free. What is in the
Steam version is much more impressive. Plus there are not all these on
screen advertisements. I like Snail Bob 2 on Steam way better than on
Coolmath or any other free game portal.
All ages of the family can enjoy the massive amount of levels in Snail
Bob 2. I only replayed levels to find missing stars or puzzle pieces.
The more places you click on the screen the easier it is to find all of
the hidden content. Snail Bob 2 kept me busy playing it for days. I love
seeing all of the different screens, cleverly hidden stars, and on
screen interactions.
The music in Snail Bob 2 does get stuck in the head. I am humming the
music to Snail Bob 2 right now as I work on this review. Which is a good
thing since the music is pleasant and instrumental. I also really like
the wardrobe in Snail Bob 2. It is so much fun to try different looking
snails in Snail Bob 2 on the PC. Hunter Hamster put forth a nice effort
in content creation for Snail Bob 2.
I hope to see more games like Snail Bob 2 in the future. I also think
this video game could easily port over to the Wii U, Playstation 4, and
Xbox One. Families learn to be observant, work together, and find the
safest way to the exit. The only issues I can see families having with
Snail Bob 2 are the little death animations (like a spider wrapping up
the snail in a web), and Snail Bob 2 is a downloadable only video game.
