Star Wars Pinball Star Wars Rebels

Star Wars Pinball Star Wars Rebels is the most recent downloadable only DLC table to be added to Zen Pinball 2. Family Friendly Gaming was provided a Playstation Network downloadable code for this review. I used the ever popular Playstation Vita for this review. The main way to play Star Wars Pinball Star Wars Rebels on a hand held is on the Playstation Vita. Thanks to Nintendo's archaic policies.

Families only get one table with the purchase of Star Wars Pinball Star Wars Rebels. Zen Studios packed that one table with a variety of different episodes families can interact with. I have not see the television show this pinball table is based on so I am unclear on who many of the characters are. I know the Storm Troopers are bad guys, and Darth Vader is a bad guy. Beyond that I am clueless.

One of the marvels of Star Wars Pinball Star Wars Rebels is hearing the same phrases repeated. It has to do with where the pinball is being knocked. I got a real knack for knocking the ball in the same place, and thus hearing the same sound byte. Doing so was better than letting the ball drop, and getting a lower score. The more I played Star Wars Pinball Star Wars Rebels the higher my scores got.

Star Wars Pinball Star Wars Rebels is all about scoring points. There is a good versus evil interaction between the characters on the table. I did not let that distract me, since the ball was almost always in motion. I like how the droid was used as a flipper in the shield generator mini game. Not sure if that is the right name for it, but that is what it looked like and sounded like to me.

I like video game pinball. I like companies that keep publishing additional tables. Star Wars Pinball Star Wars Rebels plays really well, and it is fun. I enjoyed playing Star Wars Pinball Star Wars Rebels and hope Zen Studios continues to release tables. I would love to see physical hard copies with a mass amount of tables on it. I think Star Wars Pinball Star Wars Rebels would also work well on the Nintendo 3DS.
