The Adventures of Chuck & Friends Day At The Races

Family Friendly Gaming was provided a reviewable copy of The Adventures of Chuck & Friends Day At The Races on DVD recently. This disc contains ten episodes that take 110 minutes to watch. The episodes on this DVD are Contest Countdown, Tough Break, The Short Cut, Race to the Race, Join The Club, Rowdy's New Rig, The Regifters, Mother of All Gifts, Wallbashers, and Kid Stuff.

There are a couple of new songs in The Adventures of Chuck & Friends Day At The Races. I remember seeing at least one of the episodes on this disc on a previous DVD release. It fits the racing theme in The Adventures of Chuck & Friends Day At The Races. Kids really get into this bumpers up television show. Why? Because they are friends for the long haul with Chuck and his friends.

Some of the lessons found within The Adventures of Chuck & Friends Day At The Races are giving is better than receiving, competing with friends is no fun, hide your mistakes, own up to your mistakes, do a good job the first time, learn from your mistakes, there are no shortcuts in doing good work, rules are bad, change the rules, being useless, how valuable thinking is, plan ahead, give good gifts, adults still like to play.

I love the lesson in Kid Stuff. Chuck wants to be more adult, and wants to leave kiddie stuff behind him. He eventually learns that even teenagers and adults like to play. Sure as adults we have responsibilities, and things that have to get done. Once we get the opportunity we adults love to play just as much as children do. At least I can relate to that as an adult.

There is a brand new sing along included in The Adventures of Chuck & Friends Day At The Races. I wish the Mother's Day song had been included as a sing along as well as the club song. The lesson on rules and ignoring rules that do not work can be taken a good way or a bad way. It all depends on how it is applied. That is a very subjective thing that can be dangerous. Something for families to be aware of, and to deal with in their homes.
