The Original Christmas Classics Anniversary Collector's Edition
SCORE: 82
I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming was provided a reviewable
copy of The Original Christmas Classics Anniversary Collector's Edition
on two Blu-ray discs. This package comes with seven Christmas movies.
They are The Little Drummer Boy, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, Mr.
Magoo's Christmas Carol, Cricket on the Hearth, Rudolph The Red-Nosed
Reindeer, Frosty The Snowman, and Frosty Returns.
The first disc contains the first four movies, and the second disc
contains the last three. The first disc is 128 minutes, and the second
disc is 149 minutes. So it can take some hours to sit through all seven.
The cool thing about the The Original Christmas Classics Anniversary
Collector's Edition package is you have those movies to watch at your
leisure. Not when some TV station decides to put it on around Christmas.
And there are no commercials when watching these movies on Blu-ray.
The bonus features on The Original Christmas Classics Anniversary
Collector's Edition are Be An Artist & Create, Santa Special Delivery,
Kringle Jingle, Sam The Snowman's Sing-Alongs, Frosty Snowflake
Surprise, Magical Melody Sing-Along, and Rudolph Unwrapped. I should
note that both discs have a Be An Artist & Create. One is to learn how
to draw Santa and Topper, whereas the other one is to learn how to draw
Rudolph and Frosty.
There are a variety of lessons in the The Original Christmas Classics
Anniversary Collector's Edition package. I loved hearing about the real
man Saint Nicholas and what he really did. The fantasy and fake is less
important to me than the real man, and the amazing, cool, awesome, and
fantastic things he did. He was a true innovator in his time, and make
lasting changes.
Some of the lessons I caught in The Original Christmas Classics
Anniversary Collector's Edition are Santa means play, giving warms our
hearts, stop capture animation still looks good today, the original
Christmas is different from today, Christmas changes us, hatred is
wrong, hard to be different, stealing is okay if you are a Snowman or
with a Snowman, snow is important, and more.
The animation in The Original Christmas Classics Anniversary Collector's
Edition ranges. I enjoyed the differences. There are plenty of catchy
songs in The Original Christmas Classics Anniversary Collector's
Edition. There are also funny moments, like when the lady complains
about the damage to the environment. There is also plenty of caring for
and about others in The Original Christmas Classics Anniversary
Collector's Edition.
