The Rivers of Alice Extended Version

The Rivers of Alice Extended Version is a downloadable only video game on the Wii U. This point and click puzzle video game shows its app roots. Anyone else notice all of these apps making their way to the Wii U. This home console is looking more like the OUYA as the months go by. You will most likely need a walkthrough to progress through The Rivers of Alice Extended Version.

The art style in The Rivers of Alice Extended Version is different. It seems now-a-days everyone wants to try and do something artistic and different. Which means it will be hit or miss with the audience. For me in particular the art style in The Rivers of Alice Extended Version is a miss. I am not big on the tones, textures, and blank areas. Some people will like the art style in The Rivers of Alice Extended Version.

The music in The Rivers of Alice Extended Version is good. It flows in different parts of the game, and some of the puzzles are music based in this downloadable only home console video game too. The music of Vestula Morla is featured in The Rivers of Alice Extended Version. The music in The Rivers of Alice Extended Version attaches itself to the selling point of being artsy. The Rivers of Alice Extended Version is the kind of a game that could be featured in a museum.

The puzzles in The Rivers of Alice Extended Version are maddeningly difficult. There are hints in The Rivers of Alice Extended Version which proved to be worthless almost every single time I tried them. Like I needed to get a cup and fill it up with water. The hint was a picture of the medallion. I had the medallion in my inventory, which led to confusing, irritation, and frustration. Remember I said to use a walkthrough.

The main character in The Rivers of Alice Extended Version is fighting sloth, envy, and dishonesty. I was not always sure how the game was doing this though. I also find it ironic that we are fighting sloth, while playing a game that has us sit there slothfully. Yeah that thought is delicious isn't it? Expect to go all over the screens in The Rivers of Alice Extended Version interacting with different objects. Figuring out what to do is part of the core game play mechanic in The Rivers of Alice Extended Version.

The Rivers of Alice Extended Version reminds me of the Nancy Drew video games. Well without the realistic looking graphics, mystery, mini games, and voice acting. The idea of walking around screens clicking on objects, and figuring out what interacts with what. Some of the puzzles in The Rivers of Alice Extended Version made perfect sense to me. Others were things I would have never thought of. The Rivers of Alice Extended Version tries to stretch brains in ways they probably never went before.
