Toy Soldiers War Chest comes in the always popular physical copy format, and also the digital download format. Family Friendly Gaming was provided a code for the digital download copy of Toy Soldiers War Chest. This tower defense video game is five gigs in download and hard drive storage space. The four main characters on the front cover (He-Man, Duke, Cobra Commander, and Ezio from Assassin's Creed) are only purchasable via DLC in the download version of Toy Soldiers War Chest.

I did some research and supposedly there is a download code for the DLC (the four main sought after characters) that comes with the physical copy of Toy Soldiers War Chest (Editor: Family Friendly Gaming will look to verify this in the future with a purchase of the physical copy). Another reason the physical copies of products continue to be better. I also suspect there would be law suits of false advertising if they had not been included since they are prominent on the front cover.

Toy Soldiers War Chest lets old members of the family play tower defense in interesting ways. After placing defenses, players can play any of other defenses. Build up a bar by destroying enough attacking toys. Get it high enough and old members of the family can bring out one of the major hero characters. There is a time limit to these characters unless you find batteries on the battle field.

There is multiplayer in Toy Soldiers War Chest, however only in the online version. Which is a real shame for families that want to play Toy Soldiers War Chest locally together. Most families can not afford the massive Internet costs to play online games. Which is why Family Friendly Gaming supports the local multiplayer features, as well as the physical copy movement.

Toy Soldiers War Chest is violent. Players use machine guns, cannons, anti-aircraft, missiles, and more. Upgrades can be important to improve the defenses in Toy Soldiers War Chest. I wish the main heroes bar would build up automatically, and that it would not dissipate so quickly. The maps are well balanced and fun to play with in Toy Soldiers War Chest. It would be nice if they were not so difficult.

I love the idea of GI Joe, He-Man and Cobra in Toy Soldiers War Chest. I believe Toy Soldiers War Chest could contain so many new and cool toys in sequels. Ubisoft has a really good idea with Toy Soldiers War Chest. Old members of the family can play Toy Soldiers War Chest in a variety of ways. Like a normal tower defense, with the defenses, and with the heroes.
