Trine 3 The Artifacts of Power

I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming was provided a download code for Trine 3 The Artifacts of Power on the Playstation 4. This game is between two gigs and three gigs. Pretty large download that takes time. I wonder if a Trine trilogy compilation disc will be created for all of the physical copy gamers? I certainly hope so. I know Family Friendly Gaming would happily report on it for the millions in Family Friendly Gaming Universe.

There are three characters in Trine 3 The Artifacts of Power. They are the thief, wizard, and knight. Three family members can enjoy Trine 3 The Artifacts of Power at the same time in local co-op. Trine 3 The Artifacts of Power on the Playstation 4 contains seven regular story levels, ten Lost Page levels, and a mini adventure level (The Quest For Cake). Players need to get so many orange triangles to unlock certain levels.

I noticed some Hindu statues in Trine 3 The Artifacts of Power. I did not notice anything related to the super majority religious belief in America though. There is magic and violence in Trine 3 The Artifacts of Power. Some areas are all about solving a puzzle. Other areas require jumping, swinging, and box creating skills. Other areas require so many enemies be pummeled into extinction.

The 3D graphics look good in Trine 3 The Artifacts of Power. I loved being able to go forward and backward in the levels. The voice acting is nice, albeit a bit on the quiet side. Swapping characters in the single player mode is very important. As of the time of this review being written there is no online multiplayer. Which is awesome. So much time and money is wasted on online modes now-a-days that is it nice to see offline modes given priority.

If you are thorough the first time through a level then you won't need to replay levels to get enough triangles. I learned that lesson half way through Trine 3 The Artifacts of Power. I loved some little things in Trine 3 The Artifacts of Power - like putting a fish on the hook of the guy trying to get dinner. I enjoyed my time with Trine 3 The Artifacts of Power on the PS4. I would like to see this franchise continue into the future.
