Walt Disney Short Films Collection
SCORE: 74
Family Friendly Gaming was recently provided a copy of Walt Disney
Short Films Collection on Blu-ray + DVD + Digital HD. This package
contains twelve Disney Shorts that take around seventy-nine minutes to
watch. These Disney Shorts range in different art styles, stories, and
from different time eras. Some are funny, and others are sad. More on
that to come in just a bit.
The twelve shorts on the Walt Disney Short Films Collection disc are
Frozen Fever, Feast, Get A Horse, Paperman, Tangled Ever After, The
Ballad of Nessie, Prep & Landing Operation Secret Santa, Tick Tock Tale,
How to Hook Up Your Home Theater, The Little Match Girl, Lorenzo, and
John Henry. Our family really enjoyed the funny shorts in Walt Disney
Short Films Collection.
The Little Match Girl, and Lorenzo seem a bit dark for Disney. John
Henry could be lumped into that category except it has a message of hope
right at the end. Frozen Fever, Tangled Ever After, and How to Hook Up
Your Home Theater are funny. In fact those franchises are definitely
going in the right direction with those Disney Shorts. They need more
work done in the future.
Tick Tock Tale, Feast, and Paperman are very heart warming. They are the
ones that are very inspiring on Walt Disney Short Films Collection. The
Ballad of Nessie is sort of there. Prep & Landing Operation Secret Santa
is one of the most action packed confusing Disney Shorts. Get a Horse is
one of my personal favorites since it uses different animation styles
and pays its respects to the past.
T.J. Miller takes families through an inside look of developing and
producing a short. That is the main bonus feature in Walt Disney Short
Films Collection. We re-watched the funny Disney Shorts on these discs
over and over again. That Tangled one never gets old to me. It is one of
the funniest Disney Shorts I have ever seen. The only down side to Walt
Disney Short Films Collection is these Disney Shorts have been released
with various movies over the years. It also would have been nice if
there were more than twelve shorts on these discs.
