I like word games. I enjoy playing them in the book format. Once I finish with a book it needs to be thrown out. This is where Word Search by POWGI comes into play. Families can replay the same puzzles as often as they like. There are 336 puzzles in Word Search by POWGI on the 3DS too. Each of them are crammed with words spelled vertically, horizontally, diagonally, and backwards.

The graphics in Word Search by POWGI are pretty standard. Not a lot of colors, and not many different things. There are words and letters. Once the player spells a word, it changes color on the screen. It is also highlighted on the screen. I did not find any offensive images in Word Search by POWGI though. Word Search by POWGI is safe for children to look at. A basic reading ability is needed.

The music in Word Search by POWGI is awesome. I loved listening to this downloadable only video game on the Nintendo 3DS. I actually played Word Search by POWGI on the Nintendo 2DS. It is such a better system for me. Word Search by POWGI works really well on this system too. I wish Word Search by POWGI had come on a cartridge so it could be played on the 3DS system we have.

The controls in Word Search by POWGI are marvelous. It is so easy to touch and drag the entire word. I found Word Search by POWGI let me go from the first letter to the last letter, and from the last letter to the first letter. So Word Search by POWGI let me do it either way. Which is really cool. I sometimes found a word backwards easier than forwards. Word Search by POWGI taught me to pay attention to how a word is spelled, and if it is plural or not.

Word Search by POWGI has a wide variety of topics, and words in it. I even found a puzzle for Christmas that listed nativity, and Jesus in it. That is awesome to see in a country where 80% of Americans self-ID as Christian. I also found a section under Halloween listing zombies, vampires, and witches. Those different topics should show the kind of range of diversity of the topics within Word Search by POWGI.
